5G Ventures signs collaboration agreement with the European Space Agency

5G Ventures announces it has signed a collaboration agreement with the European Space Agency (ESA) for the support of the activities of Phaistos Investment Fund. 5G Ventures is one of the first Venture Capital Fund Managers to be signing such a partnership.

The collaboration will be focused on exchange of expertise, technical and infrastructure support by ESA, support to selections boards and other ad-hoc activities benefiting both parties.

The collaboration with ESA is part of 5G Ventures strategy for the deployment of a network of partners which includes renowned academic & research institutions and industry players.

The network will be able to assist in the evaluation of businesses that have applied for funding from Phaistos Investment Fund. It will also support businesses developing next-generation digital services and products in which the Fund will invest. The investment activity of Phaistos is expected to start in the coming months.
